In the socially impactful film Fadkari, I had the privilege of bringing the character Nanda to life — a strong yet vulnerable individual who represents the emotional heartbeat of the story. Nanda is a symbol of hope, resilience, and inner strength amidst the harsh realities faced by a rural community grappling with environmental and societal struggles.
My portrayal of Nanda involved an intense character study, where I worked to
authentically capture the emotions, dialect, and cultural nuances of rural Maharashtra. The
journey of Nanda in the film is filled with moments of silent strength, emotional turmoil, and
unspoken sacrifices, all of which demanded a deep emotional engagement and subtle performance on
screen.
Working under the direction of Subhash Fadke and alongside an exceptional team of actors like
Prasad Bilore, Minakshi Bhise, Mohini Avsare, and Amol Pukale, I was able to push my boundaries
as an actor. The environment on set was collaborative and inspiring, helping me to explore both
the vulnerability and determination that defined Nanda's spirit.
